Cristian Campo’s vision for Villa Aroma has grown beyond his successful Cauca farm to La Plata, Huila. Managed by local farmers deeply connected to the area, these farms reflect a strong dedication to quality and sustainability. With its high altitudes and nutrient-rich soils, the Huila farm provides the ideal environment for cultivating the Geisha variety.
THE PROCESS
The natural processing method undertaken at the Villa Aroma Huila farm enhances the coffees depth and body, whilst highlighting the unique terroir of the region. The whole coffee cherries are shade dried whole, allowing slow development and deepens the flavours of the coffee.
WHY WE LIKE IT
this exceptional coffee is packed full of fruity flavour which showcases the regions rich potential and the farmers expertise. The geisha varietal offers a silky body, and tropical fruit notes which are both floral and punchy. To top it off, the extended natural process adds even more so to the fruity character and complex flavours.
